How It Works

The Insurance Plug Academy is designed to help you learn step by step without feeling overwhelmed.
Courses are self-paced, but new training is added progressively so you can focus on one skill at a time and build on what you’ve already learned.

Each course may include:

  • Short instructional lessons
  • Downloadable resources and reference guides
  • Think Like a Biller application activities
  • Knowledge checks and assessments
  • Practical examples you can apply to real-world billing and credentialing situations


Students are required to complete each section in order before moving forward. Each section builds on the concepts taught previously, helping you develop the knowledge and skills needed for the material that follows.
